Royal Couple to Visit Calgary Alberta

Alberta Movers is excited about the upcoming visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge the week of July 6th – 8th. This is their first visit to Canada since the Royal Wedding at Buckingham Palace was held on April 29th of this year.

The royal tour will move throughout Canada between June 30th and July 8th and will include visits to Quebec, the Northwest Territories, and Prince Edward Island. They are set to arrive in Calgary on Thursday, July 7th and move quickly to the University of Calgary to attend a presentation on innovative health research in Canada.

Also on the itinerary for the Calgary tour is the kick-off of the 2011 Calgary Stampede Parade by the Royal Couple on July 8th. They will then be off to a reception at the Calgary Zoo before the official departure of the Royal Couple later that afternoon.
